Thoughts of Broken Bones

Just because some people do bad things, it doesn't always mean they are bad people. For example a character named Tristen is known as a thief because he has stolen apples from a tree, day old bread, and just ruined a cemetery so it could be renewed again. He only did it for a good reason.

Broken Bones is a great adventurous book. I thought the story would be boring at first because on the front cover of the book, the colours were dull and had pictures of human bones . When Mr. Pearce read the back of the book, the story started to sound more interesting so I gave the book a try.

What I liked about the book was that it talked about the olden days, about a hundred years ago and the modern days. Will, a young man from the olden days and Tristen are quite similar. Both characters were selfless and were judged. A girl named Peggy from the modern days hated Tristen because he used to steal, and is a goth that speakes in shakespeare quotes. A man named Thomos Moody hated Will because he was Irish and his father had killed someone before.

I would recommend this book to people who like adventurous stories and are ages 10 and up.
